Cryptocurrency company Nomad is offering rewards to hackers to recover funds stolen in the $190 million hack in the past few days.

According to the statement from Nomad, anyone who returns at least 90 percent of the stolen tokens will be viewed as a white-hat hacker trying to detect vulnerabilities rather than an attacker. The remaining 10% of the refund will be given as a reward.

Nomad Will Recognize Hackers as White Hat Pirates

Due to the hack attack on Monday night, $190 million in damage was revealed on the Nomad Blockchain bridge. The attackers returned Nomad about 5 percent of its total losses a day after the 190.38 million hacking attacks.

Saying that he previously worked with crypto forensics specialist TRM Labs and law enforcement to detect hackers, Nomad said; It has also partnered with crypto platform Anchorage Digital to accept and protect recoverable funds.

With this partnership, the opportunity Nomad has launched will allow hackers to be seen as white-hat hackers. Attackers who return 90 percent of the stolen tokens do not have to give the remaining 10 percent. Nomad describes it as a reward.

Nomad CEO Pranay Mohan said in a statement;

“The most important thing in crypto is the community and our number one goal is to restore user funds. We will not judge the white hats. But we will continue to work with our partners, intelligence companies and law enforcement to pursue all other malicious actors to the fullest within the law.”
