In the past months, Nokia sued Oppo in 4 different countries for violating its 4G (LTE) and 5G patents. Nokia, which has invested heavily in 5G technologies, also sued Lenovo and Daimler, frightening its rivals. Oppo and OnePlus products will not be sold in Germany
Germany’s Mannheim District Court found Nokia right in the Nokia and Oppo case and handed Oppo a very large fine. With the court’s decision, Oppo and OnePlus products can no longer be sold in Germany. Although Oppo quickly opposed the court decision, this claim of Oppo was also rejected.
