Continuing its activities under the umbrella of HMD Global, Nokia continues to come up with new phones. HMD, which introduced the Nokia G20 model with a price tag of $ 199 in June last year, introduced the Nokia G21, the continuation of the series.
While the new model comes up with improvements on the battery, screen and camera, there is no big upgrade. Nokia G21, which has a 5050 mAh battery with a usage time of up to three days, has 18W fast charging support. However, the charging adapter that comes out of the box of the device is 10W.
Nokia G21 features
The 6.5-inch LCD screen of the device has a 90 Hz refresh rate, but still offers a low resolution of 720p+. The Unisoc T606 processor that powers the G21 is produced with a 12 nm fabrication process and comes in an octa-core structure.
The processor, consisting of two Cortex A75 and six Cortex A55 cores, also includes Mali G57 MP1 graphics unit and Cat 4 LTE modem. The phone, which has 4 GB of RAM, offers two different options on the storage side, 64 GB or 128 GB. Of course, there is a slot for external storage.
The main camera of the device is 50 Megapixels. While the night mode and super resolution feature stand out, the 5 Megapixel ultra wide angle camera in the G20 has left its place to the 2 Megapixel macro and 2 Megapixel depth detection sensor in this model.
How much does the Nokia G21 cost?
The phone, which houses the fingerprint reader on the side, also has an advanced face recognition system. The phone, which will definitely receive two major operating system updates as part of HMD Global’s software support program, is ready for Android 12. The Nokia G21 price is set at 170 Euros.
