HMD Global has released the successor model of Nokia G20, which it launched last year. The smartphone, called the Nokia G21, has improvements in the screen, camera and battery.
The device has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset. It is accompanied by two storage options, 4GB RAM and 64/128GB. It also has a microSD card slot.
The back panel of the Nokia G21 is a triple camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Super Resolution and Night Mode support available. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sefie camera.
5,050 mAh battery
The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box, but the company has confirmed that the device will receive Android 12 update soon. It will also be upgraded to Android 13 in the future as per HMD Global’s software support policy.
The device is equipped with a 5,050 mAh battery with 18 watt fast charging. However, a 10-watt charger is included in the box. The Nokia G21 is available in two color options, blue and brown. The smartphone will soon go on sale in the European market at a price of 170 euros.
