This marks a first for Nintendo’s portable handheld console in history. Nintendo Switch, which has managed to become some of the best-selling consoles of all time; It is the 4th best selling console (PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii) in US history and the 6th best selling video game hardware in the world.
Switch sales also ranked first as a unit in April, as we’re used to seeing them lately. Just behind it, Xbox Series X / S showed up, while PlayStation 5 supply was more limited. However, the highest share of revenue in April belonged to PlayStation 5.
