Green light for Legend of Zelda movie
For those who don’t know, Nintendo, knocking on Universal’s door for the Super Mario Bros. movie, signed a big box office record. Now film critic Jeff Sneider has reported that the two companies will team up again for a new Zelda adaptation. “I was told that Universal had a ‘big deal’ with Nintendo for The Legend of Zelda,” Sneider said on The Hot Mic podcast. Zelda looks like the next big Illumination-Nintendo adaptation we’ve all been waiting for. I was told that this happened.” said.
It should also be noted that the new news is not a first for the Zelda series. In 2018, it was revealed that he was developing a Legend Of Zelda series by the producer of the Castlevania animated adaptation. However, we have not heard any developments about this adaptation.
For those who don’t know, The Legends Of Zelda series, released in 1986, is about the character Link, who embarks on adventures to save Princess Zelda and defeat the main enemy Ganon in the magical land of Hyrule. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which was released last May, was praised for its graphics improvements, new mechanics and a brand new story, according to Breath of the Wild.
