Marina Picasso, granddaughter of the legendary painter Pablo Picasso, announced that he and his son Florian will continue to release NFT collections depicting the artist’s work. NFT collections caused a lot of controversy because some family members did not support the initiative.

Picasso’s grandson Florian released an NFT collection earlier this year that includes the artist’s famous works. However, some family members opposed this project.

Picasso’s granddaughter Marina Picasso stated that he and his son Florian will continue to issue such assets. Marina also described NFTs as “a modern technology that allows us to connect with art”.

Marina Picasso confirmed that there were family issues. However, after discussing the issue, he was supported by the painter’s son Claudio:
