Kevin Systrom and his long-term partner Mike Krieger have named their new project Artifact. Combining the terms Article-fact-AI, this name aims to provide users with news blended by artificial intelligence.
After installing the application, the user is directed to the main stream page after selecting the news sources. As they read the news and make comments, the artificial intelligence starts to get to know the user. Then, it proposes appropriate news to its user. It even provides the user with more accurate news by feeding it with news from different fronts.
The Artifact application, which is still in the closed beta process, will soon add social components to its structure and users will be able to share the news they like with other users. It is also stated that there will be a private message box.
