Famous analyst Max Jambor announced that the tablet model that OnePlus will produce in the past months will be called the OnePlus Pad. According to the report released today, there have been some sad developments regarding the OnePlus Pad launch date.
OnePlus Pad launch date delayed
OnePlus Pad leaks, which first appeared in December 2021, revealed many technical features of the device, especially the processor. It was leaked in March that OnePlus has started producing the new tablet model in European and Asian factories.
Another leaked information is that the OnePlus Pad model has started to be tested in India. Analyst Mukul Sharma has announced that the OnePlus Pad model will not be introduced this year. Stating that it can be launched in early 2023, Shartma underlined that it is not yet clear why the company moved the launch date forward.
The OnePlus Pad model will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor. The processor has 1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 585 Prime (Cortex-A77), 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 585 Gold (Cortex-A77) and 4 x 1.8GHz Kryo 585 Silver (Cortex-A55) cores. Produced with 7nm technology, the graphics interface of the processor is Adreno 650.
On the screen of the device, a 12.4 inch FullHD Plus OLED panel was used. Although it has not been announced yet, it is estimated that HDR10 Plus technology will also take place.
The company will use 6 GB of RAM in its first tablet model, the OnePlus Pad. The storage capacity of the device is not yet known.
The model, which is stated to have a dual rear camera array, will have a 13 Megapixel main camera and a 5 Megapixel ultra wide angle camera. However, an 8 Megapixel lens will be used on the front camera.
It is known that the device will come with the Android 12L operating system. The OnePlus Pad will have a price tag of 2,999 yuan (about $443) in the Chinese market.
