Bitcoin supporter New York City Mayor Eric Adams plans to ask Governor Hochul to veto the recently passed bill that would impose a two-year moratorium on some Bitcoin mining activities in New York.
As we have mentioned before, the New York Senate approved the bill that introduced a 2-year PoW mining ban in order to address “environmental concerns”. During the moratorium, the state will investigate the potential environmental impact of PoW mining.
