You can choose how long the message will remain fixed. WhatsApp will allow the message to remain stable for 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. In addition, users will be able to remove the pinned message at any time without waiting for the time to expire. So, how will WhatsApp message pinning (timely) be done?- Enter a group or individual chat.
- Swipe right on the message you want to pin.
- Tap Pin.
- Choose how long the message remains stable.
- The pinned message will appear at the top of the chat.
Timed message pinning is a useful feature, especially in WhatsApp groups, so that participants do not miss the message when an important announcement is made. The ability to choose how long messages are pinned in chat and groups is currently under development and will be available to beta testers first with the new update.
