Declining interest in tablets caused many manufacturers to abandon this segment. However, tablet sales, which increased with the pandemic period, brought some brands back to the market. Among them is Xiaomi, which launched the Pad 5 series last year.
There is a decline in iPad sales. Samsung is growing
The Chinese company is now preparing to launch a tablet under the Redmi brand. The name of the device, which is expected to enter the market under the name Redmi Pad 5G, was listed together with the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro in a survey published by the MIUI research department. Unfortunately, no details were given about the technical specifications of the tablet.
Rumors had spread before
Redmi Pad 5G rumors first started to appear in 2020. Talks for the device included Snapdragon 765G chipset, 48 megapixel camera, 30W fast charging support, 90 Hz display and MIUI For Pad interface. However, the tablet did not become official. It is not clear when the Redmi Pad 5G, which has come to the fore again, will debut and what features it will have.
