Call of Duty cheaters no longer just get upset when they’re kicked out of a game; at the same time, their names will be published in real time and they will be almost embarrassed. CoD: Modern Warfare II and CoD: Warzone season five were released this week, and the update includes an addition to the Ricochet anti-cheat system.
When Ricochet detects a “problem player” and kicks them out of the game, the game will notify everyone in the match of such an event in the kill stream. This will ensure that all players are assured that they are dealing with a cheater, and that Activision’s systems will also know that they have detected that person and kicked him out of the game.

In fact, it’s hardly new for a game to tell players that someone was kicked out for cheating. Many other online games have similar systems.
Still, this change can be described as a good update from Team Ricochet, which has tried all kinds of tactics to deal with cheaters and try to catch suspicious players. Call of Duty has blocked cheaters from seeing their enemies over the past few years and has taken away their weapons. More recently, Team Ricochet has begun placing clones of real players against detected and suspected cheaters.
