Spider-Man: No Way Home (Spider-Man: No Way Home) was the top-grossing film of 2021, making over $1 billion (£750 million).

The production, starring Tom Holland, surpassed the Chinese-made Battle of Changjin Lake, which was about the Korean War and grossed more than $905 million worldwide.

The last movie to gross more than $1 billion was 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. There has never been a movie that grossed this much during the pandemic period.

The movie is yet another success added. Spider-Man: No Homecoming replaces Avatar, the 3rd highest-grossing film of all time in the US.

Spider-Man: No Homecoming, which ranked fourth at the US box office last weekend, earned $7.2 million and did not surpass Avatar in overall gross. When the total box office revenue of the film in the USA and Canada reached 760 thousand 988 million dollars, it managed to surpass the third-ranked Avatar with its 749 thousand 766 million dollars and became the third highest-grossing production.

The highest-grossing movie of all time in the US is Star Wars: The Force Awakens with a gross of 936 thousand 662 million dollars, while Avengers: Endgame is in the second place with 858 thousand 373 million dollars.
