Samsung announced One UI 5.1 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1. As of now, the new update has started to be available for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3 devices. While the company’s fast update policy satisfied users, it turned out that the new update caused various problems such as battery consumption and hang-ups on old devices.

New problems appeared in One UI 5.1 update

Today, most of us find it useful to upgrade to updated software on smartphones. Reportedly, One UI 5.1 is causing various issues on older Galaxy phones. Some users sharing on the subject stated that after the update, their phones were stuck during certain animations and the device battery was drained faster. Also, a user says that the ability to choose between different colors on the wallpaper disappeared after installing the update.
