Many Pixel 7 owners, who voiced their complaints on Reddit and Twitter today, began to share photos that show the rear camera module of their device cracked. The first of these users said, “It hasn’t even been a month, there are no falls and the phone has a case. I was told that this is my problem. It’s definitely a manufacturing defect and I know I’m not the only one. Please fix this Google!”
The second user said, “I took my phone out of my pocket and the rear camera glass was broken. I must have hit a corner with it in my pocket. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I called their store and no one has spare parts yet.”Although it was stated in the second post that the defect could be caused by a physical blow, this may indicate a chronic problem with the Pixel 7 series as there are multiple reports encountering a similar issue. About the shared problems, no response has been shared from the Google front yet.
