New people have joined the lawsuit against Tesla CEO Elon Musk for supporting the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE).
Elon Musk has been sued in recent months for running a ponzi scheme to support Dogecoin. Seven new investors and six lawsuits were added to the $258 million lawsuit.
Complaint Submitted to Elon Musk’s Dogecoin Case Amended
According to a modified complaint filed with the Manhattan federal court, Elon Musk with companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, Boring and others deliberately increased the price of Dogecoin and then allowed it to crash.
The amended complaint of the lawsuit involving new names states that the defendants made tens of billions of dollars in profits alongside other Dogecoin investors. The defendants also said that they knew from the beginning that the cryptocurrency had no real value and that its value was dependent only on marketing.
In the amended complaint, it was stated that Elon Musk recently announced on Twitter that he will “continue to support Dogecoin” and that many people around the Tesla and SpaceX factories demanded that he continue this support.
