Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim
Recently, Variety announced a new anime movie called Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. According to the announcement, it will be released on April 12, 2024. Kenji Kamiyama, who worked on anime such as Blade Runner: Black Lotus and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Blade Runner: Black Lotus producer Joseph Chou will lead the project.
Voice cast of Lord of the soon to be announced Rings: The War of the Rohirrim will take place 200 years before productions such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The film will focus on the making of Helm’s Deep, which we also saw in the movie Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
