New Marvel Documentary MPower Released on Disney+

Marvel, which is followed with excitement by millions of people with movies and series inspired by popular comic book characters, announced that a brand new series has been added to Disney+. It was stated that the name of the series, which is in the documentary genre and includes female characters, is “MPower”.

March 8 is International Women’s Day, that is, as of today, a trailer of MPower, which has been added to Disney+ and accessible to all subscribers, was also shared by the company.

The four-part documentary series focuses on the development of female protagonists. These stories are told by the people who brought these popular Marvel characters to life. The production focuses on characters beloved by fans such as the women of Wakanda, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy.

The actors who play them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also share their thoughts about the characters in the series. Zoe Saldana, who plays Gamora, says MPower is a tribute to women’s representation and empowerment, adding that they hope the series will help create a more equal world.

MPower consists of “Women of Black Panther”, “Scarlet Witch”, “Captain Marvel” and “Gamora”. The episodes delve into these beloved heroes in detail, from each character’s origins in the comics to their life stories, from behind-the-scenes footage to the actors’ experiences.
