Evan Blass (@evleaks) has leaked press images of all of Samsung’s upcoming mobile devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Buds 3. The first image shows all these devices together, including the Ultra version of the Galaxy Tab S9. While the Galaxy Buds 3 is seen in White, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 come in Green/Mint.
Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra…
The second image reveals the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s huge clamshell display and dual camera setup. This phone is expected to have an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an improved 12MP primary camera and a newer hinge mechanism that allows the phone to be folded shut without any gaps.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 seems to follow pretty much the same design as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It is also expected to bring the new waterdrop-shaped hinge, which reduces screen wrinkling and ensures that there is no gap between the two folded halves of the device. Similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Galaxy Z Fold 5 will also be compatible with the S Pen Fold Edition.
Galaxy Watch 6 Classic brings back Samsung’s iconic rotating bezel
Samsung is also bringing back its iconic rotating bezel with the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. There will also be a rotating bezel-less version of the watch called Galaxy Watch 6. Not much is known about the new features of these new wearables, but we can see that the bezels around the circular Super AMOLED displays of both new smartwatches are thinner.
We can expect the Galaxy Watch 6 series to feature accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, GPS, heart rate monitor, EKG, body composition analysis and blood pressure measurement. Both smartwatches will run the One UI 5 Watch based on Wear OS 4 right out of the box.
While Samsung has not officially announced the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event, it is expected to happen next month. It is also known that the event will be held in Seoul, South Korea.
