Samsung has added a new member to its Z Flip 3 family at its Unpacked Part 2 event today. Then, it introduced different features and personalization options for the Galaxy Watch 4 family, one of the most up-to-date smart watch models. After the event, 4 new members joined the watch interfaces. Every day, Samsung offers its users more customization and personalization opportunities on their smart devices. In addition, thanks to the new knock knock feature, when you double-click on your device, it will open an application you have previously set or turn a feature on or off.
We encounter 4 different themes in the added watch interfaces. In the first of these, we see only one panel, where you can change the background photo and show only the time and date. In the second, we encounter a detailed but simplistic vision consisting of only two colors, with a pedometer, air temperature, date and battery status in the corners, and a clock in the middle showing the seconds.
In the third interface, there is a customizable panel with the clock in the middle, the city and the weather for that region on it, and the icons at the bottom showing what the weather will be like in the following hours. In the 4th and last dial, those who do a little more sports are considered and information about the step, calorie counter and heart rate monitor has been added under the clock information. In addition, it allows you to customize a few more features.
You can customize the Knock Knock feature
Thanks to this newly added feature, the device can detect contact and impacts and perform certain commands. For example, when you click on the device twice, you can answer and reject the incoming phone call, open the music application or start the training mode quickly.
Samsung has not forgotten to improve its security measures. Added an additional sensitivity option to detect fall situations even when users are not moving. Thanks to this feature, your smart watch will now be able to control you not only while you are doing sports, but even when you are asleep. In case of any accident, it sends an automatic message to 4 people you have previously determined.
In addition to these new features, Samsung has also launched a special campaign for fitness-loving users. In the campaign made exclusively for Galaxy Watch 4 users, you can sign up for the popular fitness app Strava and experience it for 2 months free of charge.
