ZTE is one of the companies that continues its activities under the shadow of US sanctions, such as Huawei. The company, which was blacklisted in 2018 for threatening US national security, continues its efforts to leave the troubled days behind.
In this direction, ZTE, which recently showcased the special version of Axon 30 Ultra with 18 GB RAM and 1 TB internal storage, is preparing to present the game-oriented Nubia Red Magic 7 series to users in the future.
Nubia Red Magic 7 received 3C certification
As it will be remembered, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor was introduced recently. At the same time, the first models to be powered by the processor were announced, while the Nubia Red Magic 7 series was among the phones in question. Thus, it became clear that ZTE is working on new player phones.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that the series will use was produced with a 4 nm fabrication process. The chipset, which comes across with ARMv9-based cores, has one 3.0 GHz Cortex X2 and three 2.5 GHz Cortex A710 cores. The Cortex A510 core, which is known as the efficiency core and has low power consumption, operates at 1.8 GHz.
Shortly after that, the Nubia Red Magic 7 appeared in the 3C database with the Bluetooth SIG in the first place, then the model number NX679J. In this way, some of the technical features of the device became clear.
The smartphone will come with an OLED panel that offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz, which will take the fluency in games to the next level. In addition, it will have a triple camera setup that includes 16 GB of RAM and a 64 Megapixel main camera, similar to existing models.
The device will be powered by a high-capacity battery that supports 165W fast charging, which can be charged via USB-C. Support for 5G and Bluetooth 5.2 is also expected.
There is no clear information about when the series, which hosts the Red Magic 7 and Red Magic 7 Pro models, will be released. However, we expect some important developments to occur in the first half of 2022, considering that the devices have been on the agenda with new information recently and the current Red Magic 6 series was introduced in March.
