The Nothing brand, founded by Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, in the UK in 2020, attracted attention with the interesting LED light design of the Nothing Phone, the first smartphone it introduced. The company also received great acclaim with its first technological product, the Nothing Ear 1 wireless headset.
In the past months, some sources from the technology world claimed that Pei could introduce a new and unusual wireless headset, and these claims were true. Recently, technology analyst Kuba Wojciechowski shared new images of the headset called Nothing Ear Stick.
Looks like lipstick from the outside
Introduced at London Fashion Week at the end of last month, Nothing Ear Stick looks like a lipstick from the outside. Although there are not many details about this headset, whose name is inspired by the word Liptstick (Lipstick), technology analyst Wojciechowski shared the leaked official render images of the headset on his Twitter account.
Stating that the published render images were received after a leak, the analyst also explained that he thinks the headset will be much more comprehensive than Nothing Ear 1. When we compare Nothing Ear 1 and Nothing Stick, we see that the biggest change is in the ear tips, except for the box of the earphones. In the Ear 1 model, there is an AirPods Pro-like silicone on the tips of the earphones, while the Ear Stick model has a silicone-free and open structure similar to the AirPods 3rd Generation.
The headset, which does not have a big change in the external design except for the silicones, is expected to perform well above Nothing Ear 1 in terms of hardware. It is almost certain that the headset, which is thought to be free of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), will have longer battery life and a larger battery in its box.
Although the Nothing brand has not announced when the Nothing Ear Stick will be released, many technology analysts think that the headset will be introduced by the first quarter of 2023.
