Toyota and Lexus showed a series of concept studies as a preview of their future models in the past months. Among these interesting concept studies was an electric sedan.
Lexus allowed us to take a closer look at the electric sedan concept with the new images it shared on social media. The vehicle in front of us has a much more aggressive and aerodynamic body design than the sedan models in Lexus’ current product range. Especially if we talk about the front design, it is possible to say that Lexus has done a successful job.
The front hood of the concept is lowered towards the nose of the vehicle and has two air intakes on it. While the thin lights and the air intakes on the bumper edges create a very harsh image, the design of the center ventilation does not look like sports cars. In the continuation of the design, the muscular fenders and the unusual design of the doors stand out. In addition, hidden door handles attract attention.
The Lexus Electrified Sedan concept, which looks like a four-door coupe in profile, features an integrated spoiler with an illuminated Lexus logo on the back. It is impossible not to see the lack of the familiar giant grille of Lexus in the front section. However, the company has made up for this shortcoming to some extent by using a design similar to the details in this shutter in the stops.
There are no exhaust outlets on the back of the concept. Although this strengthens the possibility of the car being fully electric, the PHEV (rechargeable hybrid) option should not be ignored. Details on this will emerge in the future. On the other hand, among the previously introduced concepts was a station wagon. We can’t wait to see it up close.
