Battlefield 2042’s release is a short time away. Although the open beta tests carried out before the release of the game are not liked by some players, many people are waiting for the full version. Battlefield 2042, which will be released on November 19, includes two modes, PORTAL and Hazard Zone. Although a trailer was previously released for the PORTAL mode, maps and vehicles are shown to us with the new trailer.
PORTAL, the most exciting game mode in Battlefield 2042
PORTAL mode has content that you can go back to the days of Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. Weapons, soldiers, vehicles and maps in the previous games of the series are offered to the players thanks to the PORTAL mode. PORTAL mode has a programming interface that runs in the browser. With this interface, you can make game modes with the rules you want. There is no battle royale mode in Battlefield 2042, but you can design it using the PORTAL if you wish.
You can use existing game mods or create mods that have never been produced before through the PORTAL and share these mods with other players. You can also use the contents of the previous games of the series thanks to this game mode. In addition, the PORTAL will be offered to everyone free of charge.
Developer DICE has announced the PORTAL mode before, but the new trailer gives us more insight. The trailer shows the Battle of the Bulge, El Alamein, Valparaiso, Arica Harbor, Noshahr Canals and Caspian Border maps, respectively. You can also see the weapons, soldiers and vehicles in the previous games of the series in the trailer.
Battlefield 2042 will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. In addition, users with EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions will be able to spend 10 hours on the game on November 12, the early access date of the game.
