Just before its launch, there is something everyone is very curious about about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Whether the company will break tradition and use a flat screen in its flagship. If you remember, we recently shared that the design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra was leaked and that it had a flat screen. However, according to a different leak, this may not be the case.
According to a post shared by @RoderSuper on the X platform, the S24 Ultra screen is not completely flat. In the shared images, it can be seen that there is a 0.3 – 0.4 mm curve in the frames. For the last few years, Ultra models have been coming with curved edges, which has a significant impact on the aesthetics, repairability and feel of the phones.
The leakster says that while the left and right bezels on the S24 Ultra will be the same size as those on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the top and bottom bezels will be half as thick as they are now.
The S24 Ultra has a curved(03~0.4mm) on bezel.
Not flat.
The top and bottom bezel sizes are the same. The size is half of the S23U. However, the left and right bezels are the same as the S23U.— SuperRoader (@RoderSuper) November 25, 2023
In this case, it appears that the screen bezels of the S24 Ultra will be less curved compared to their predecessors, but they will not be completely flat. It is also said to be modeled after the iPhone 15 Pro, with a stronger titanium frame around the edges. On the camera side, it is said that 200MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto (with 3x optical zoom) and 48MP telephoto (with 5x optical zoom) cameras will be located on the back.
The leaks we have received are not just limited to hardware: a code hidden in the Instagram app suggests that the Galaxy S24s will have some kind of special Instagram feature.
We don’t have to wait too long to find out exactly what the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra looks like or what components will be built into it, as the phone is thought to be unveiled in mid-January.
