Google is updating its popular Maps app with new features, primarily Area Density. Google Maps is also expanding its service in the US, adding to the Index tab to help you navigate large complexes like malls and airports. Also, the price ranges are among the new arrivals.

As the New Year approaches, with the effect of the pandemic gradually fading, the shopping density is increasing and it seems that it will continue to increase. To help people avoid or join these crowds, Maps introduces a new tool called Area Density, which shows bustling areas and provides details about how busy it is now and how busy it is expected to be next.
Google has also started adding directory services in selected areas. Both Android and iOS users can see the rest areas, food, shops and parking places in airports, shopping malls and stations by using these directory services. In addition to their locations, information such as prices, points, opening-closing times of these points are also included in the directory services.
