The countdown has begun for OnePlus 12, which OnePlus is preparing to launch in China on December 5 and globally on January 24. As the launch date of the model approaches, there is a serious increase in the number of leaks about it. Latest reports reveal the screen features of the smartphone in depth.

OnePlus 12 screen features revealed

Digital Chat Station, which stands out in the industry with its leaks, said that OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED screen offering 3168 x 1440 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it claimed that the 2K+ panel will offer 2160 Hz PWM dimming and 510 pixel density. We should also point out that the screen has DisplayMate A+ certification in the 2K class.

With its recent post, OnePlus officially announced that the upcoming OnePlus 12 model will come with 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0. Of course, other memory and storage options are expected to be available here. However, we should point out that no clear details have been shared about them yet.

Apart from this, OnePlus previously announced that the device will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm continues to cooperate with TSMC for its new processor. The processor, produced with 4 nm technology, has 1 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 2 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 and 2 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The company includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support in its new chip.

It was also confirmed a while ago that the new Sony LYT-808 sensor will be used as the main camera on the device. It was stated that with the use of the sensor in question, the smartphone will offer improved image quality and performance, especially in low light conditions.

Another camera to be used on the smartphone will be a 64 Megapixel periscope sensor. It is stated that the camera will be OmniVision OV64B and will offer up to 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, let’s add that there will be OIS support.
