Here are the new features coming to Instagram and Facebook:

New features for Instagram and Facebook were recently announced on Facebook with a small clip. Adam Mosseri briefly introduced three tools for video creators on Twitter.

The first feature described in the Twitter post above is the ability to cross-post Instagram Reels to Facebook. This feature was already available in Stories. However, now the feature of sharing with Facebook has also come to Reels.

The second feature is the arrival of the Add Yourself to Reels sticker. This sticker was already used in Stories. Can now also be used on Reels.

Users who regularly post Reels on Facebook will be able to profit from the third feature. To understand how their Reels are performing on Facebook, creators will get improved insights such as average watch time, total view time. Meta also announced that Facebook Stars is now available to all eligible creators. Viewers can send these stars to creators in their Facebook Reels, and in return Facebook pays them $0.01 for each star they receive. Creators, on the other hand, can check their total Star count under Star stats in Creator Studio.

Another feature is that Facebook has more Reels remix options. This feature allows you to create your own Reels by recording alongside the existing one. Coming to the last feature, you can automatically create Reels using Stories you have shared on Facebook before.
