The popular instant messaging app is adding a new option to its last seen section as part of an effort to improve privacy. With the feature, which is known to be in development, you will be able to make sure that only certain people can see when you were last active. Last seen currently supports three options ‘Everyone’, ‘My Contacts’ and ‘Nobody’.
After the new feature is available, ‘Selected contacts’ will be added to the last seen section, which can be accessed from WhatsApp Settings > Privacy. However, its release date is not yet known.
