According to the news, YouTube will give you the option to add the music you like directly to the YouTube Music playlist so that you can browse Shorts more easily. In this way, you will not need to exit the application.
For this, it will be enough to touch the button with the picture of the album in the lower right corner of the Shorts video. Then the application will direct you to a page with details such as song and artist name. Then there will be a list of other short videos made with the song, as on TikTok.
After performing these steps, you will be able to access the song you recorded in your YouTube Music app. Moreover, you will do this without leaving the Shorts video. Also, when you create your own Shorts videos in the YouTube app, you will see these recorded songs as Saved background suggestions.
