When you are searching for something on the internet, it is sure that your call is interrupted by a message or a phone call and you forget what you are looking for after that… Google has previously announced that it is working on a feature called Journeys for those who have such problems. And finally, Journeys feature is activated in the latest version of Chrome. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to see the calls you have made in the past, repeat them or resume the calls that have been interrupted.
The Journeys feature will initially be limited to users using English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish, then roll out to all Chrome desktop browsers.
This new feature automatically groups pages and information related to the same topic and saves the user from getting lost in the visit history or creating a bookmark folder with all these sites. Chrome also provides search suggestions to support your research.
Groups are saved locally and are not synchronized with your Google account; therefore, you cannot access them from other devices. However, this option may change in the future. You can turn this feature off at any time and clear your browsing history.
This new feature can come in handy when planning your vacation or gathering information to buy a new vehicle. It is currently only available in the Chrome Canary version for desktop. Users can access this feature by entering the chrome://history/journeys address.
