Qualcomm’s new generation flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, is expected to be announced later this month. At this point, while the countdown had begun, the performance test of the processor raised the expectations even further.
Famous tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed the AnTuTu performance test results of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. For those who don’t know, AnTuTu is an application that helps measure and compare the performance of a smartphone.
According to the source, LPDDR5T RAM was used during the tests and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 achieved a score of 2 million in the AnTuTu test. The score of the previous generation processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, was 1 million 6 thousand. At this point, it is possible to say that it is a significant upgrade. In this context, the biggest difference seems to be on the GPU side.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 840 thousand points in the GPU test. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s score was 600 thousand. It is reported that the new processor will offer a 40 percent improvement by including Adreno 750 on the GPU side. This is pretty good news for mobile gamers. Because it will offer an impressive gaming performance.
Although the CPU performance of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will not disappoint, it does not meet expectations. The new processor achieved a score of 440 thousand. This score means a 15.7 percent performance increase compared to the previous generation Snapragon 8 Gen 2.
