According to the Counterpoint Research report, Xiaomi, which is the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world with a 13 percent market share, presented the highly anticipated Xiaomi 12 series to users at the China event it held in the past weeks. The smartphones, which went on sale for the first time in the country shortly after, broke a record by selling units worth 283 million dollars in just 5 minutes.
It is currently a matter of curiosity when the Xiaomi 12 series, which is already experienced by users in China, will arrive in global markets. However, it should be noted that smartphones have started to be listed on telecom certification sites in different countries and will soon be released for global markets.
Xiaomi 12 series started to be listed by Indonesia Telecom
The Xiaomi 12 series has recently started to be listed on Indonesia Telecom’s certification website. We can easily say that the smartphones with the model numbers 2201123G and 2201122G are standard and Pro models, respectively. On the contrary, the website does not have any details about the third member of the series, 12X.
After this development, claims that the series will meet users in global markets earlier than expected began to emerge. Accordingly, according to reports from sources close to the company, the global event is expected to be held in mid-February.
In addition, the countdown has begun for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which was not introduced at the same event. At this point, the smartphone is planned to be launched in February and arrive in global markets.
