Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) will make its first car ready for mass production in 2022. The company continues to take important steps towards this goal every day.
After it was announced that TOGG will establish a facility in Bursa for the production of electric vehicles, the construction of the factory with a cost of 22 billion TL began in May 2020. Then, in the same year, the brand name was decided and production agreements were started. Now, a new one has been added to these agreements.
TOGG established SIRO Silk Road Clean Energy Solutions
TOGG announced that it has established SIRO to develop energy storage solutions as a result of its partnership with Farasis Energy, along with its official Twitter and Instagram account. What does SIRO aim for?
The main task of the company, which was founded by TOGG, will be to produce batteries for domestic cars. However, in addition to battery production, the company is expected to develop alternative technologies so that the cells it produces work efficiently and integrate with automobiles without any problems.
SIRO also plans to expand outside the automobile industry. The company, which will produce storage solutions according to needs, both in the country and in the international market; In this regard, it is expected to reduce foreign dependency and develop a clean and efficient energy system.
