Nothing, which Carl Pei, the former founder of OnePlus, brought to life in 2020, is counting the days to enter the smartphone industry. The company, which won acclaim with its first product Nothing Ear (1) last year, will step into an area where competition is extremely intense with the Nothing Phone (1). New details have emerged about the device, whose key features were previously known.
Countdown has begun for Nothing Phone (1)
Mukul Sharma, who came to the fore with leaks in the industry, announced that the countdown for Nothing Phone (1) has begun. At this point, Sharma stated that the smartphone has been tested in many Asian countries, including Indonesia, India and Malaysia. For this reason, it is possible to say that the accuracy of the July claim, which was previously made about the promotion date, has increased.
Nothing Phone (1), if we consider the reports that have emerged so far, will appeal to the middle segment and will be presented to the user with a different design. The device will have a transparent back panel. In other words, the components inside the smartphone will be truly visible.
Apart from that, the bezels of the device will be environmentally friendly. Here we will meet a recycled aluminum material to reduce its carbon footprint.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor will be used in the model. The chipset produced with TSMC’s 4 nm fabrication process; It houses the Adreno graphics unit in addition to one 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 (Kryo), three 2.36 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores.
Wireless charging support will be available on the device. It will also receive three years of operating system updates and four years of security updates. Finally, let’s mention that it will run the Nothing OS interface right out of the box. In terms of price, it is expected to be around 500 euros.
