Nothing, brought to life by former OnePlus founder Carl Pei in October 2020, is preparing to increase its product range. The company, which won acclaim with its first product Nothing Ear (1) wireless headset, will soon step into the smartphone industry with Nothing Phone (1). Finally, the design and processor of the device, as well as the price, have been revealed.
What will Nothing Phone (1) offer users?
Nothing Phone (1), considering the leaks that have emerged so far, will appeal to the middle segment and will appear in front of the user with a different design. The device will have a transparent back panel. In other words, the components inside the smartphone will be truly visible.
The frame of the device will be made of recycled aluminum to reduce its carbon footprint. In addition to being environmentally friendly, it will not upset its users with its technical features.
The recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor will be used in the smartphone. Chipset produced with a 4 nm fabrication process; It houses one 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 (Kryo), three 2.36 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Adreno graphics unit.
Nothing Phone (1), which will also have wireless charging support, will be offered for sale at 500 euros. The launch date has not been officially announced yet. But according to All Round PC, it will be released in July.
Finally, let’s say that the smartphone will run Nothing OS user interface right out of the box. The device will receive three years of operating system and four years of security updates.
