Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to bring its first tablet model to the global market. Ahead of the official announcement, new details about the tablet have surfaced.
It will be called Redmi Pad
Reportedly, it has been confirmed that the new tablet, spotted on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital State Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website with model number 22081283G, will be called Redmi Pad. However, previous rumors suggest that the tablet will be powered by the MediaTek MT8781 chipset similar to the Helio G99 and equipped with a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
On the software front, the Redmi Pad, which will be supported by the MIUI Pad 13 and Andoid 12 operating system, will be presented to users with a 2K resolution 11.2 inch LCD screen and an 8MP camera without LED flash. Also, reports indicate that the new tablet will have 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage options and a price tag between 250 and 350 euros.
