Apple is working on a new technology for the first foldable iPhone model. A new patent that the company has received shows that the phones will have display designs that can fold along the hinge points and expand when necessary.

The new patent includes an innovative hinge structure with multiple joint joints. The drawings show that the first foldable iPhone can be bent at a right angle.

Will have a ‘expandable’ screen that is foldable and required

The new hinge design is designed to prevent the screen from being too stretched during folding. In addition, the hinge structure can be hidden in the screen thickness and the screen can make the more compact state.

Apple will not limit this technology to the foldable iPhone. The patent says the foldable screen can be used in many different artifacts, as well as smartphones, bracelets, laptops, smart glasses and even in -car systems.
