Smartphone manufacturers continue their work on foldable phones, which have increased their popularity recently, without slowing down. While Samsung and Huawei lead the way in this area, other companies are also working hard to be included in the competition.
New details have emerged about the foldable phone that OPPO, one of these companies, is preparing to offer to users in the future.
OPPO Fold’s battery details leaked
Known for its reliable leaks, Digital Chat Station officially shared the battery features of the OPPO Fold, which the Chinese company is preparing to introduce to users in the future, on the microblogging site Weibo. Allegedly, the foldable phone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
As it will be remembered, some of the screen and camera-oriented technical features of the foldable phone were leaked by Digital Chat Station in August. Accordingly, OPPO Fold is expected to come with an OLED panel produced by BOE with a size of 7. 8 to 8 inches. In addition, the panel is claimed to offer 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD + resolution.
While the 32 Megapixel selfie camera welcomes us on the front, there is a 50 Megapixel main camera on the back. On the other hand, it should be noted that the rear camera will come with Sony IMX 766 sensor. It is currently unknown how many sensors the foldable phone will come with on the camera side.
The device, which is expected to run the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 interface as soon as it comes out of the box, includes a fingerprint reader positioned on the side as a security method.
The recent increase in leaks related to the foldable phone, in particular, confirms the claims that OPPO will make a move that will please the users in the near future.
Although the date when the device will be showcased is currently unknown, according to information from sources close to the company, OPPO Fold will be introduced late this year or in the first half of the new year.
