It has been known for a long time that Cuppertino-based technology giant Apple continues to work on an automobile project. After the different leaks shared, the design details of the vehicle have now emerged.
It will have fully autonomous driving
Wayne Ma of The Information newspaper said that the latest design of the Apple Car includes four seats facing each other, allowing for easier communication between passengers. It is also among the shared details that Apple is experimenting with a trunk design that automatically raises and lowers when not in use, and that there may be huge screens behind the car seats that can be adjusted up and down.
As it is known, cars with fully autonomous driving support need to be able to leave the control to people for safety, and this process has to go through a long trial phase. Noting that Apple hopes to get approval from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to introduce vehicles without steering wheels and brake pedals, Wayne Ma reported that the Apple project team has begun trials with an autonomous vehicle.
