A new one has been added to the ongoing trade wars between the United States and China. According to reports by Bloomberg, the Beijing administration announced that it has decided to ban Microsoft’s popular operating system Windows and foreign brand computers.
Will affect many foreign brands
Preparing to replace the nearly 50 million computers used in central government institutions alone, the Chinese government is reportedly ordering government departments and state-sponsored firms to turn to domestic alternatives. However, many sources on the subject think that the process will be implemented gradually over a two-year period and the decision will affect Windows on the software side and many foreign brands, including Dell and HP, on the hardware side.

Among the shared information, it is also stated that processors and graphics cards, which are considered as PC components that are difficult to replace and owned by western companies, will be exempted from the new decision.
