Recently, Google announced that it would be shutting down its cloud gaming service as it failed to reach its goal. However, competitors like Amazon continue to offer their own cloud gaming services.

The company has started to make new moves as it will launch its ad-supported membership model in November. Netflix, which wants to provide users with both series / movies and gaming experiences, also announced that it will open a game studio at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.

Speaking at the conference, Netflix Games Vice President Nike Verdu underlined that they are in a serious search for cloud gaming service. Commenting on the subject, Verdu said, “We will open a new game development studio in Southern California. Unlike the game studios we have purchased before, we will come up with a studio that we opened with our own means for the first time. Chako Sonny, executive producer of Overwatch, will direct the new studio.” made statements.

Most companies currently offer the cloud gaming service as a standalone product. It is estimated that Netflix will offer this service to all users with a small increase in subscription fees.
