Tesla has not yet taken a clear decision on the release date of its vehicle. The company had quietly removed the release date of its vehicle from Cybertruck’s order page recently. According to Reuters, it seems difficult for the company to release its vehicle this year. According to rumors, Cybertruck will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
The company has not yet received an official statement on the subject. However, the attitude of the company confirms this claim. The design section of the company’s official page previously included the phrase “You will be able to complete your configuration as production approaches in 2022”. This statement has been removed with the last update.
The reason for the delay is unknown, but it is thought to be one of the biggest factors in the global chip shortage that affects the whole world. So much so that in recent months, Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, responded to a user’s request to update the release date on Twitter that Tesla was grappling with a “supply chain nightmare”.
