Technology giant Apple continues to work on the new iPhone SE model, which is expected to be introduced at its event in the coming months. On the other hand, the company will introduce the highly anticipated iPhone 14 family in the second half of this year. The company started to work on the iPhone 15 Pro, while keeping its product planning wide.
Apple removes the notch design with the iPhone 15 Pro
While Apple is working hard on the smartphones it plans to release this year, it is also working on the iPhone 15 Pro. As such, leak information about the smartphone continues to come. Finally, some claims have been made about the camera features of the phone from LeaksApplePro. Allegedly, Apple will abandon the notch design with the iPhone 15 Pro.
From the very beginning of the iPhone lineup, Apple has used either a thick top bezel or a notched design. If the claims are true, the iPhone 15 Pro will be the first iPhone series smartphone without any of these designs. On the other hand, the company wants to remove the fingerprint reader on its smartphones. However, it is unknown whether this decision will hit the iPhone 15 Pro.
Periscope lens claim for iPhone 15 Pro
Although it’s been quite a long time before the iPhone 15 Pro is released, claims about camera features continue to be made. Known for his reliable leaks in the past weeks, Ming-Chi Kuo made claims that Apple will start using a periscope camera on its new smartphones.
According to another claim, it continues to negotiate with Lante Optics as the main supplier of periscope lenses. Apple is expected to include a periscope lens capable of 5x optical zoom in the high-end models of the iPhone series from now on. If the claims are true, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models from 2023 will have a periscope sensor.
