Apple, which has recently received the title of the world’s first company of 3 trillion dollars, continues its efforts to present its new products to users. Many claims and leaks have been made about the work of the company, which has been working hard on the iPhone 14 series, which is currently expected to be introduced in September.
However, unlike the upcoming iPhone 14 series, reports have begun to come one after another about the iPhone 15 models, which are expected to be introduced in 2023. In fact, pleasing claims have emerged about the camera of the Pro model of the series.
iPhone 15 Pro will come with a periscope camera
As will be remembered, last year, Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his reliable leaks in the smartphone industry, pointed out the iPhone 14 Pro model by making claims that Apple will start using a periscope camera in the next series. These claims began to emerge from early 2020.
Thereupon, another analyst, Jeff Pu, recently said that Kuo’s claims are partially true, but that the periscope camera will be used from the iPhone 15 Pro. So, what will users be able to experience with the use of the camera in question?
The periscope sensor, which is currently available in flagship models such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Huawei’s P40 Pro+, which focuses on mobile photography, is capable of optical zooming up to 10x. In contrast, the iPhone 13 Pro, which is considered one of Apple’s most powerful models, can only zoom up to 3x optically.
If the claims made by analysts such as Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu are correct, we will start to see the periscope sensor in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models from 2023. This will allow devices to step up in mobile photography.
So what do you think about this subject? Will we see the periscope sensor on iPhone 15 Pro models? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section.
