Introducing the A53 5G, which is the candidate to be the king of the middle level, the other day, Samsung was appreciated by many users. However, the Korean technology giant had increased many of its products, from smartphones to smart watches, earlier today.
Another development experienced today was the statement made by the famous technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Making a statement in the evening, Kuo claimed that we will see Qualcomm processors on all Samsung devices soon.
Samsung may soon abandon Exynos processors
The fact that the Qualcomm processors, which are found in 70% of all S22 series phones produced, are much smoother than Exynos, caused many users to perceive Samsung’s own processors as “worse and negatively affecting the performance of the phone”. This is why Samsung, which could not profit much from Exynos processor phone sales in Europe, was dissatisfied with this situation.
According to Kuo’s claim, none of the phones of the S23 family, which will come with new Qualcomm chips adopting the TSMC 4nm architecture, will have an Exynos processor. The main reason for this is that Exynos 2300 chips, which have 4nm architecture, can perform only half of Qualcomm’s processors. For this reason, Samsung, which does not want to lose its reputation in the European market, will have to fully adopt Qualcomm processors in its new devices.
Ming-Chi Kuo also claimed that Qualcomm will be one of the leading brands in the Android market by the end of 2023. The companies that will benefit most from this leadership will of course be Qualcomm and TSMC.
