NetherRealm has added Omni-Man to the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 fighters. He also shared the first gameplay video for Quan Chi, another character that will come with DLC.
In the video, we see Quan Chi defeating the strongest Mortal Kombat characters one by one. Quan Chi showcases his abilities as both warrior and mage in the Mortal Kombat universe. The character, who gives his enemies no respite with the portals he opens and magical skulls, ends the fight with exactly the fatality expected from him.
The trailer also shows off another upcoming Cameo fighter, Khameleon. The female ninja character will be included in the game in January. A character that Quan Chi encounters at the end of the trailer is also noteworthy. We learn that the DC Comics character Peacemaker, whom we know from The Suicide Squad movie, will also come as DLC in February.
Quan Chi will be included in Mortal Kombat 1 on December 19. Those who buy the Premium version of the game or those who have the standard version and added the Kombat Pack will be able to access the Quan Chi DLC one week in advance.
