Snapdragon 8s Elite Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is coming

According to recently shared leaks, Qualcomm is claimed to offer only a single “Elite” series this year. Therefore, the chips outside this series, which includes flagship models, will not carry the “Elite” brand. In this process, the Snapdragon 8s Elite, who has been on the road for a while, will be released under the name Snapdragon 8s 4.

For the time being, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is expected to be officially introduced in early April, and the first smartphones are expected to be announced in mid -April. According to leaks, the chip will come out of the 4nm production process of TSMC and will have a CPU design of entirely large cores. The chipset will include 1 Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores and Adreno 825 GPU instead of the ORYON nuclei.

According to the previous information, the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset is approaching 2 million points on the antuutu. In addition, the Adreno 825 GPU will be a clipped version of the Adreno 830 in the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This indicates that the performance will be one step behind the flagship level.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is expected to be located on more affordable phones than Qualcomm’s flagship models. With the introduction of April, we will see which devices this model will be used.
