Apple’s plans for future devices can sometimes show itself with small clues. And apparently, the company’s new Invites (Apple Invitation) application contains such a clue. Beyond a simple party planning application, the invitation sheds light on the design type that we can see on iOS 19.
When you open the invitation application, you can notice that there are many common points with applications made for the Vision Pro title. The glassy, hanging boxes and colorful backgrounds of the application are very similar to the details you can see in Vision Pro applications. The design language of the application has been very different from most other Apple applications in iOS for years, and the design language, which is now quite familiar for users. Apple, Visionos used in the Vision Pro, along with this design language has moved a little away, and the new invitation application is progressing in this direction.
In a remarkable way, the invitation is not the first time Apple turns to a different interface design in an application. The Sports application, which Apple recently launched, was a deviation from the usual design approach.
